First-Aid Kit - Do We Need It?

You travelled a long distance, came to a new city. And, you are tired because of a tedious or long voyage (say a long flight to overseas country or a long car drive) and now, you just want to find a cozy place and take rest first. Now, in this condition, if you have to crusade a place to stay then that's it, you may indeed get vexed and sick.

Here comes the need to be pre-planned and pre-organized.

o Travel at such a time that you can avoid arriving to the unfamiliar place late at night or midnight. It won't be safe, in case you are traveling by train or flight. The option to stay overnight at the airport is also not good and safe. Instead, pick early morning arrival and there is no harm in traveling overnight. It would be good to check-in the hotel early morning, which you should book online beforehand.
o It's wise to have some cash (at least an amount that could be used for two days) with you. That would be helpful as you won't be familiar with Atms in new city, just by seeing the map.
o You have to be your navigator, so a map is required too. A good map should be bought prior to the journey to have a rough idea about the city, you are going to. You can also use many websites to get this information.
o Do get some idea over the internet or from other citizen who have already visited the place before, about the general expenses like bus tariff, taxi tariff, train tariff etc. Also, try to know more about the place straight through online sites or straight through people.
o Anytime traveling to a new place or to a known one, always make it a point to book a room in a hotel and get the confirmation.
