Like BTE aids, you should inspect them daily after taking off at night to look for any dried earwax on them, especially on the area that goes directly into the canal. After looking for wax use a soft cloth to clean it. If there is earwax found on any of the parts, sometimes it can be quite stubborn, in this case you can use some hard material.

Therefore, it's highly recommended that you buy some form of sanitized spray along with some other tools to clean your ears on a regular basis.
